Twenty-one Law is the brainchild of Dr Roselyn Borg LL.D., LLM, who has been practising law for the past 16 years. She graduated as a lawyer in 2002 and practised employment law with the Malta Employers’ Association until 2006, when she moved to the UK where she then set up her own boutique law firm, specialising in employment law. Dr Borg concentrated primarily on disputes concerning employment matters and represented both employers and employees in Industrial Tribunal cases.
Dr Roselyn Borg – Advocate
Dr. Borg is a dual qualified lawyer specialising in employment law. She has over 16 years’ experience working locally and overseas. She has developed and delivered training programmes and has advised a number of employers on various employment law issues.
She also represents clients at the Employment Tribunal. She graduated at the University of Malta and then pursued her studies in the UK. where in 2009 she also set up a boutique employment law practice until she sold it. In 2012 she moved back to Malta and set up 21 law, also a practice specialising in employment law.
Rosleyn is a partner at 21 Academy where she is also the Head of Institution and she is also a partner at 21 Recruit.
Angelito Sciberras – Chief Business Officer
Angelito has worked in the Health Care, Journalism, Marketing, Sports and Administration fields. Has a vast experience in Human Resources, Customer Care and Event Management. Angelito has developed and delivered training programmes for employees in the IT field and in Data Protection particularly GDPR.
As Chief Business Officer at 21 Law he is responsible for the administrative, financial, and operations management of the firm. He has been instrumental in the growth of the firm.
He is currently widening his horizons by studying Liberal Arts and Sciences
Patrick Farrugia – Trainee Advocate
Patrick obtained his Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 2018 from the University of Malta, with his term paper entitled “The Concept of Human Dignity in Maltese Human Rights Jurisprudence”, and is currently reading for his Master of Advocacy. He joined Twenty One Law in early 2019, assisting in various matters of employment and data protection law, along with the construction of courses for 21 Academy.
Patrick has served as President and Financial Officer of the organising committee of the MaltMUN international conference from 2016 to 2018, and has also served as Public Relations Officer of the Junior Chamber of Advocates for the year 2018–2019.
Sayed Farman Ali Shah – Legal Executive
Sayed Farman Ali Shah is a qualified lawyer. He trained and previously worked as a senior associate at one of the renowned law firms in Asia after qualifying in 2016, where he was mainly dealing with drafting legal documents, legal research, advising clients and dealing with multiple parties in multiple jurisdictions. He is experienced in various area of law. Since the inception of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Sayed developed his keen interest in privacy and data protection laws.
Sayed joined Twenty One Law as a legal executive assisting in various matters of data protection law and employment law.
